For a major greenfield development, a national oil company needed an advanced 3D digital twin supporting immersive training fully integrated with control-room simulation — a scope that grew into live operations.
The Challenge
The client required an Immersive Training Solution (ITS) integrated with an Operator Training Simulator (OTS), synchronizing field-operator activities, control-room actions and dynamic plant behaviour in a safe, risk-free environment for high readiness before start-up. Once it saw the twin integrate seamlessly with the process simulator over OPC, the scope expanded to real-time operational data visualization from the live plant.
The Kairos3D Solution

As an ITS + OTS environment, it synchronized control-room actions with field responses over OPC, simulating normal, abnormal and emergency scenarios for integrated DCS-plus-field training and risk-free start-up/shutdown rehearsal.
