Client: Suzuki — Automotive manufacturer
Sector: Automotive retail · Virtual showroom · Vehicle configuration · Immersive sales
Technology: Gilgamesh · VR · Real-time 3D · Multi-format output
Engagement: VR sales experience for the dealer network (Suzuki Vitara)
The Challenge
The car sales process was growing complex with ever more trims, colors, materials and options, and no dealership can physically stock every configuration. Suzuki needed to present the Vitara immersively and interactively, show many configurations without physical stock, support sales consultants, reduce dependence on showroom space, and bridge the physical dealership with a digital sales experience.
The Kairos3D Solution
Kairos3D developed a VR car experience for the Vitara. Customers enter the vehicle virtually, sit in any seat and inspect interior and exterior details up close — beyond brochure or rendering fidelity — in a real-time 3D environment. They could also place the car in different contexts (mountain, seaside, urban) for an emotional, lifestyle-aligned presentation. Built on Oculus and a real-time 3D engine, the same asset output to many formats: web, HD renders, powerwall, HD and 360 video, mobile and Oculus Rift.
Results
- 16,000+ configurations — Visualized, selected and experienced without physical stock.
- True immersive inspection — Sit inside, explore interior and exterior in first person.
- Emotional presentation — Configurable environments aligned to the vehicle’s positioning.
- Dealer efficiency — Less reliance on stock and showroom space.
- Multi-format asset — One 3D asset reused across web, video, powerwall and VR channels.
Why Kairos3D
An early VR application supporting the car sales process, the Suzuki project anticipated automotive digital retail — virtual showrooms, immersive configuration and multi-channel 3D asset reuse — turning a realistic 3D model into a sales-support platform and a digital extension of the dealership.
